Start times from 9 A.M. to 1:20 P.M. 20K to 5K, Classic. Mass start, each age group skis multiple loops
Base: LF10 or MF10 Green
Glider: MF10 or HF10 (typically one fluor level higher than what was applied as a base)
Option 1: HF13 Block, ironed through a sheet of fiberlene, then a second layer rubbed on and hand-or roto-corked. Polish with designated fluor brushes.
Option 2: HF9 Fluor powder, ironed, then “brushed up”, and ironed again. Hand- or roto-cork, then polish.
Option 3: Apply a thin layer of HF13 over the HF9 powder, and hand-cork and brush.
Option4: New HFxt Blue Finishing Gel either applied alone over the glider layer, or on top of the powder or block. Hand-cork and brush.
Gripwax: Clean and wax gripzones.
Base: Apply a layer of Base Extra, and iron into the gripzone. Cork after cooling. For early starters, Apply several layers of Synthetic Blue, then multiple layers of RF Blue. If not enough grip, apply a layer of RF Red under the toe. Later starters may want to use RF Red after the Synthetic Blue, covered with a layer of RF Blue or FHF80 Blue.
