Gripwax: Clean and sand gripzones. Iron in a layer of Base Wax, cleaning excess from grooves and edges. Cool, then cork smooth. Apply 2 layers of Synthetic Blue. Then apply 2-3 more layers Synthetic Green. Possibly Tar Green will give an even better grip/glide combination with new snow.

Gripwax: Clean and sand gripzones. Iron in a layer of Base Wax, and let cool. Cork smooth, then add 2 layers of Synthetic Blue. Add 2-3 layers of RF Red, covering with a thin layer of FHF60 Red grip.

Apply 4-5 layers of Synthetic Green Grip, gradually shortening the layers so that the grip wax layer is thickest under the toe, and thinnest at the ends of the zone.

Gripwax: Clean and sand gripzone. Apply a layer of Base Wax, and iron into the gripzone. Clean excess Base from grooves and edges. Let cool and cork smooth. Apply 2 layers of Synthetic Blue. If Temps are warming into upper or mid 20s, then apply a layer of RF Red, covered with a layer of RF Blue. If temps staying in low 20s, then apply 2 layers of RF Blue only.

11am, Sunday January 27. 15K classic. Mass start.

Forecast/conditions: Saturday overnight cloudy, lows 5F. Sunday mostly cloudy, 40% chance of snow. Snow temp higher on race course. PB groomed, mix of transformed, granular and packed powder.

Glidewax: Apply LF10 Green, scrape and brush. Apply MF10 or HF10 Green, scrape and brush with metal, horsehair, and stiff nylon brush. For topcoat, rub on a layer of HF13 block, and iron through a sheet of fiberlene. After ski has cooled, rub on a 2nd layer of HF13 and hand cork. Polish with a dedicated fluor polishing brush.

Gripwax: Clean and sand bases. Apply a thin layer of Blue Klister, ironing into the base, and cork smooth. Let cool and apply 2 layers of Synthetic Blue. Cover with 2 layers of RF Blue. MFW Blue or BM Fluor applied lightly and corked smooth could be an excellent additive.
